Licking melon juice from her bowl (at Nana and Papa's)
On other notes, today was a very crazy day. We met my friend Tonia and her two kids at the zoo today and got to see the baby elephant for the first time. Olivia loved him; she can't stop "talking" about how he was kicking a ball. She makes a low grunting noice for an elephant sound and then says "keek, keek!" She adores going to the zoo. After dinner this evening Doug was rinsing off the dishes and our sink clogged up....again. This is the fourth or fifth time this has happened in nearly two years. Usually I can get it unclogged by opening up all the pipes and running a snake through them, but this time was a no-go. Then to top it off, when the pipes were put back together one began leaking. Doug tried running the snake through again with no success. We swallowed our pride and called a plumber. They were two hours out when we called, but just heard from them and are running very behind and can't get here until midnight...HA! I'm not waiting up. So, I'll have to see the remnants of dinner sitting on my counter until morning. Makes you wonder how peeople survived not having plumbing!!!!
On a sweeter note, when I put Olivia down for the night she gave me a kiss, hug and "keeez" (squeeze) and then sat back up in her crib and puckered up her lips for one last kiss. She then laid down and said "nahh, nahhh" before rolling over. Man, she melts my heart! She seems to know when I need a little extra love.
